App: Diggin' It! by Verse Software (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
When you use Diggin' It! without an account, we generate an anonymous device identifier (a random timestamp-based ID) stored only on your device. No personal information is collected.
If you sign in (optional), we use SSO-only authentication via Discogs OAuth, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. We store only the provider user ID and display name. We do not collect or store passwords.
Your data is used solely to provide the app's features: saving your wantlist, tracking seen releases, and syncing preferences across devices. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
Discogs API: We fetch music metadata (release titles, artists, genres, artwork) from Discogs. Your interactions (swipes, wantlist) are stored on our server, not shared with Discogs unless you explicitly connect your Discogs account.
YouTube: Audio previews are loaded via YouTube's IFrame API. YouTube's own privacy policy applies to video playback.
Apple In-App Purchases: Donation transactions are processed by Apple. We store a record of the transaction ID and amount but have no access to your payment details.
Data is stored on a secured server in Europe (Contabo, Germany). We use HTTPS for all communications. Authentication is handled entirely through third-party SSO providers.
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data from the Profile screen in the app, or by contacting us.
